Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu is a voice actress and director. She's also an actress. In addition to being a beautiful and intelligent actor, Lucy Liu acts as a role-model for several Asian actors working in Hollywood who want to succeed. An early string of success appearances in popular television series made her famous for joining the cast of Ally McBeal, where she appeared as Ling Woo. Following her popularity, she was offered major part in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). The actress then gave an amazing performance in the role of Japanese criminal lord O'Ren Ishii, in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. Around the same time she also played the lead role in a few box office failures such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In animated movies such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell as well as others, she voiced prominent characters. Mia Mason's tiny screen role on Cashmere Mafia did not produce any results. Southland's critically-acclaimed police drama, Southland and a recurring part in the show helped Liu establish herself as an established actor. Liu takes great care in choosing her roles to ensure she's not a typecast. Although she is proud of her heritage however, she is not letting that limit her creativity.
