Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, was raised in Wellington) is the name of a Canadian actress from Canada. Paquin, who was raised in Wellington but was born and raised in Winnipeg was first seen in the acting world with The Piano. At age 11 years old, she became an infant Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. Anna Paquin's full name is Anna Helene Paquin. Born on the 24th of July, 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was an Canadian native New Zealand actress. As an infant, she won her the Academy Award for best support actress. Her role as the empathetic and curious girl of Holly Hunter played in The Piano (1993) earned her the award.
